ABOUT DONATIONS
Pet FBI is a small all-volunteer organization. (See About
Us). Although we have NO paid employees, there are other expenses involved
in fulfilling our lost and found mission. The
officers and volunteers themselves subsidize web hosting, voice mail, printing
and copying, registration fees and various other administrative and
fundraising expenses.
How are donations used???
In 2002, we started Pet FBI OUTREACH to provide spay/neuter assistance to
low-income and elderly people and people caring for colonies of stray cats. That is where funds are sorely needed.
As of this writing (February 2009) Pet FBI has assisted or subsidized over 5,000
spay/neuter procedures. In the interests of transparency, we maintain an open book policy. Pet FBI's
accounts are available online for your review
Unless designated for a particular purpose, 100% of all donations to Pet FBI are used to assist people
in need to spay or neuter cats and dogs.
PET FBI is a legally registered, non-profit,
tax-exempt 501 (c) 3 organization. All donations are fully tax-deductible and gratefully acknowledged.
